CATCHING SPECKLED TROUT AND REDFISH:

The fishing and the catching is on "BIG TIME" here in the "Speckled Trout Capital of the World", Hackberry Rod & Gun in legendary Hackberry Louisiana. This morning groups of picking seagulls were concentrated right out in front of the lodge 300 feet from the end of the pier. With in 20 minutes we had 32 trout and 3 redfish which turned into lunch for the entire staff here at the lodge. WOO HOO. Big numbers of speckled trout are being caught on the lower end of the lake and it seems that everyday we catch a trophy fish for the wall.
