2 HUGE SPECKLED TROUT HAVE BEEN CAUGHT IN THE LAST 2 DAYS

It’s that time of the year here in Southwest Louisiana. The BIG trout are just now beginning to show and will be more plentiful through mid to late June.  Call us toll free at 1.888.762.3391 to check availability to get in on the BIG trout action.

Both of these fish were caught on Black/Chartreuse soft plastic baits. One was on the popular Hackberry Hustler (picture attached) the funny little bait with the “Come catch me eyes” and the other was on a bull minnow.

Captain Kirk Stansel caught the 8 pound 3 ounce beauty over an oyster reef on the south end of the lake and David Crary of Waxahachie, Texas slammed his huge 9 pounder in west Cove.
